Aside from your home, an RV is likely one of your most significant investments, so you want a RV storage where you know your home-away-from-home is safe and protected.  Finding a storage facility that offers units large enough for RV storage can be challenging.  On top of that, storing an RV requires special needs such as electrical hookups, black/ grey water dump station, etc. that many storage facilities might not offer.

There are three types of RV storage offered at self-storage facilities:

  1. Enclosed - Oversized versions of the typical self-storage unit. Units are between 12-15 feet wide and of varying heights and lengths.  Most units at 15 feet tall and between 30-50 feet in length.
  2. Covered - There is the stand-alone canopies that include a roof structure supported by columns or the walled canopies whic have walls on three sides.
  3. Uncovered - Paved parking space at the facility usually in the back.  Some have designated, marked-off areas, while others are paved spaces between and around storage buildings.
